Leaders must first and foremost be listeners. When they listen, they gain something more precious than the privilege to speak:
a) They gain insight about people,
b) They connect with the speaker
c) They earn their right to speak
d) They become relevant
e) They understand the keys to the speakers' heart
f) They identify
g) They gain authority
h) They learn
PS: When you speak, nothing you say will teach you anything. Only when you listen, will you gain understanding!
